Paint My Curb (paint-my-curb.com), operated by SUPER DEV SOFTWARE LLC (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is a technology platform that provides booking software, payment processing, and customer management tools to help independent painting service providers (“Painters”) run their own curb address-number painting businesses.
Paint My Curb is not a painting company. We do not perform painting services. We do not hire, staff, or dispatch painters. We provide software that connects Painters with customers who have chosen to book through our platform.
Paint My Curb is a marketplace specifically for curb address-number painting — painting house numbers and related decorative elements on residential curbs and adjacent driveway aprons. The Platform is not intended for, and may not be used to advertise, book, accept payment for, or market any other type of work. This includes (but is not limited to): interior or exterior house painting, fence or deck painting or staining, commercial painting, parking-lot striping, drywall, pressure washing, repair, or any other home-improvement service.
This restriction defines the scope of the Platform itself. It does not restrict what work you may perform off-platform. You remain free to operate any other business or offer any other services through any other channel; this section governs only what may be listed, advertised, or transacted through Paint My Curb.
No licensed work through the Platform
Curb address painting on residential property is generally a low-cost, minor service that, in most jurisdictions including California, falls below the dollar thresholds that trigger contractor licensing requirements. Because the Platform is designed only for that scope, the Platform may not be used to advertise, sell, or perform any service that requires a contractor’s license, trade license, or similar regulatory authorization — regardless of whether you personally hold such a license. Painters who wish to offer licensed services should do so through channels other than Paint My Curb.
Listings are reviewed for scope
Free-text fields you submit through the Platform — including but not limited to your bio, service titles and descriptions, flyer text, and campaign notes — may be automatically and/or manually reviewed to confirm they describe only curb address painting. Listings or content determined to be outside this scope may be hidden from public view, returned for revision, or removed at Paint My Curb’s discretion. This review is solely to keep the Platform within its intended scope; it is not a review of your work, your skill, your pricing, or how you operate your business.
Your acknowledgment
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
By signing up, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you are an independent contractor operating your own business. You are not an employee, agent, partner, or representative of Paint My Curb in any capacity.
This agreement does not create an employment or agency relationship. Nothing in these Terms shall be interpreted to make Paint My Curb your employer.
You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the operation of your business. Paint My Curb does not know what laws apply in your specific jurisdiction and makes no representations about what licenses, permits, registrations, or insurance you may be required to have. It is your responsibility to determine that on your own.
This may include, but is not limited to:
You are solely responsible for ensuring that the curb address-painting services you offer through the Platform comply with any minor-work, handyman, or other licensing thresholds applicable in your jurisdiction.
We strongly recommend consulting with a business attorney or your local city/county clerk’s office before beginning operations. Paint My Curb is not liable for any fines, penalties, or legal consequences arising from your failure to comply with applicable laws.
As an independent contractor, you are solely responsible for all taxes arising from income you earn through the Platform, including but not limited to federal and state income taxes and self-employment taxes. Paint My Curb does not withhold any taxes from your payouts.
1099-K Reporting via Stripe
Paint My Curb uses Stripe to collect customer payments and transfer your earnings to your connected Stripe account. Stripe — not Paint My Curb — is responsible for issuing any required tax forms (such as Form 1099-K) to you based on the payments processed through your Stripe account.
If your earnings through Stripe meet the IRS reporting threshold for the calendar year, Stripe will issue you a 1099-K and report it to the IRS. Reporting thresholds are set by the IRS and may change year to year. Paint My Curb has no control over and no responsibility for Stripe’s tax reporting obligations or the thresholds that trigger them.
We recommend consulting a qualified tax professional to understand your tax obligations as a self-employed individual, including estimated quarterly tax payments, deductible business expenses, and record-keeping requirements.
When a customer books through your Paint My Curb page, their payment is processed by Stripe and goes directly into your connected Stripe account. Stripe automatically pays out your balance to your linked bank account based on your Stripe payout schedule — typically every 1–2 business days.
Your earnings are not held or gated by the Platform. Uploading a completion photo marks the job as done and sends the customer their completion email, but your funds settle to your bank automatically per Stripe’s schedule regardless.
Your payout amount is your full listed service price. A platform service fee is collected from the customer on top of your price and retained by Paint My Curb — it is not deducted from your earnings. You receive exactly what you set.
Individual services listed on the Platform may not exceed $100.00. The maximum total for a single customer order (base service plus any selected add-ons) may not exceed $150.00. These limits are enforced automatically by the Platform and are in place to protect both customers and Painters from transaction errors and to comply with payment processor risk requirements.
If your business model requires pricing above these limits, please contact [email protected] to discuss your options.
Painters may refer other individuals to join the Platform by sharing their referral link or entering the individual’s email address in the Referral Program section of the dashboard. When a referred individual signs up, the referral is linked automatically.
When a referred Painter completes their 10th job on the Platform, Paint My Curb will transfer a one-time $10.00 referral bonus to the referring Painter’s connected Stripe account. This amount comes from the platform service fee — it does not affect the referred Painter’s earnings. No payments are made before the 10th job is completed, and no further referral payments are made after.
The referral bonus is earned only after the referred Painter completes 10 jobs. Simply referring someone does not entitle you to any payment. If the referred Painter does not complete all 10 jobs, no referral bonus is paid.
Stripe connection required: In order to receive referral payouts, you must have an active Stripe account connected to the Platform. If you are not connected to Stripe, we are not able to pay you out. You can connect your Stripe account from the Settings page in your dashboard. Referral earnings will not be retroactively paid for any period during which your Stripe account was not connected.
Chargebacks and reversals: If any of the 10 jobs that qualified the referral bonus is later subject to a chargeback, refund, or dispute that results in the platform losing the associated service fee, Paint My Curb reserves the right to reverse or deduct the $10.00 referral bonus from the referring Painter’s Stripe account. Additionally, the referred Painter’s completed-job counter will be decremented, which may require an additional job to re-qualify for the bonus. By participating in the Referral Program, you acknowledge and agree that the referral bonus is contingent on the underlying transactions remaining valid and non-disputed.
Privacy disclosure: If you were referred by another Painter, they will be able to see their aggregate referral earnings over time. They cannot see your name, your specific jobs, or your individual activity. However, if you are the only person they referred, they may be able to infer your general work activity from changes in their earnings total.
If you do not wish for a referrer to have any indirect visibility into your work activity, you may contact [email protected] to have the referral link removed from your account at any time. Removing the link will stop future referral payments to the referring Painter but will not affect your own earnings or account standing.
Referral removal by the referred Painter: If a Painter you referred requests to have the referral link removed from their account, you will no longer earn referral payments for that individual’s completed jobs going forward. By participating in the Referral Program, you acknowledge and accept that referral earnings are contingent on the referred Painter’s continued participation and that Paint My Curb has no obligation to compensate you for referral fees lost due to a removal request.
The Platform sends the customer a completion email when a job is marked complete with a photo uploaded in the dashboard. Without a photo, the customer never receives confirmation that their job was done — and after a certain number of days with no photo uploaded, the Platform automatically sends the customer an overdue notice letting them know the job has not been marked complete.
Earnings are not gated by the photo — funds settle to the connected bank account automatically per Stripe’s schedule once the customer pays. Uploading a photo closes the loop with the customer and keeps the booking in good standing on the Platform.
Best practice: photograph the curb before starting and again after finishing — keeping both on file. In the event of a customer dispute, before-and-after photos serve as documentation that the work was performed correctly. The dashboard also has an optional “mark as started” step that lets a before photo be uploaded and notifies the customer that work has begun, but this step is entirely optional.
Submitting false or misleading photos, or marking jobs started or complete when work has not been performed, is grounds for immediate account suspension and forfeiture of any pending payouts.
Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel a confirmed booking through the Platform in the following situations: (a) before 11:59 PM the night before the scheduled service date, for a partial refund (service amount only; the platform fee is not refunded), or (b) after the booking becomes overdue (no completion photo uploaded by the day after the service date), for a full refund. Additionally, if no photo is uploaded within 3 days of the service date, the Platform automatically cancels the booking and issues a full refund (see Section 6b).
Early Completion
You may complete a job prior to the scheduled service date at your discretion. The scheduled date is used by the Platform to determine when a job becomes overdue. If a job is not completed by the scheduled date, the Platform may notify the customer and inform them of their right to dispute the charge with their credit card issuer. Completing a job early will not affect your payout or standing on the Platform.
When a completion photo is submitted, the Platform automatically checks whether the work appears to match the order — for example, verifying that the address painted matches the address on the booking. This is a safety feature for the painter’s benefit, not an evaluation of workmanship, style, or technique.
If the system identifies a potential mismatch (for example, the painted address does not appear to match the booked address), the painter is notified of the specific issue before the job is marked complete. At that point, it is entirely the painter’s choice whether to correct the issue and resubmit or proceed with the photo as-is. No individual at Paint My Curb reviews or evaluates the work.
If no issues are identified, or the painter chooses to proceed, the job is immediately marked as complete and the customer receives their completion email.
If a completion photo has not been uploaded by the day after the scheduled service date, the Platform automatically sends the customer a one-time email letting them know the job has not yet been marked complete. The customer is also given the option to cancel the booking for an immediate full refund.
If no completion photo is uploaded within 3 days of the scheduled service date, the booking is automatically cancelled and a full refund is issued to the customer from the painter’s connected Stripe account. If your Stripe balance has already settled to your bank, the refund may create a negative balance on your connected Stripe account. Stripe will recover any negative balance directly from your linked bank account.
Overdue notices and automatic cancellations are avoided when a completion photo is uploaded promptly after the job is finished. If circumstances prevent completion on the scheduled date, the Reschedule option in the booking dashboard is available to update the date — this resets the overdue window and sends the customer an email with the new service date.
If you choose to cancel a confirmed booking, the customer will receive a full refund issued from your connected Stripe account. Because you are the merchant of record, Stripe’s credit card processing fee (typically around 2.9% + $0.30) is retained by Stripe and is not returned to you. Paint My Curb does not absorb this fee and is not responsible for it.
In short: if you cancel a paid booking, you receive nothing for that job and the Stripe processing fee comes out of your Stripe balance as part of the refund.
By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.
Painter-initiated cancellations
When a confirmed booking is cancelled by the painter (as described in Section 6c), the Platform attempts a refund to the customer from the painter’s connected Stripe account. Stripe’s payment processing fee (typically 2.9% + 30¢) is retained by Stripe and is not recoverable. No payout is received for that job.
Incomplete jobs
If a job is not completed by the scheduled service date, the Platform sends the customer an overdue notice as described in Section 6b. The customer may cancel for an immediate refund. If no completion photo is uploaded within 3 days, the booking is automatically cancelled and a full refund is issued from the painter’s connected Stripe account (see Section 6b).
Customer chargebacks & disputes
Because each painter is the merchant of record on their connected Stripe account, any chargeback or payment dispute filed by a customer goes against the painter’s Stripe account directly — not the Platform’s. The Platform tracks dispute outcomes and lost chargebacks factor into platform access thresholds as described in Section 8a.
Customer quality concerns
If a customer contacts Paint My Curb with a concern about the quality of completed work, Paint My Curb may share the contact information on file (such as name and email address) with that customer solely to facilitate a direct resolution. Any resolution is between the painter and the customer — Paint My Curb is a software platform and does not mediate or arbitrate service-related matters.
Your use of Paint My Curb is a revocable software license. This license grants you access to the Platform’s booking, payment processing, and customer management tools. It does not constitute employment, and restricting or revoking your license is not equivalent to termination of employment.
Paint My Curb uses Stripe Connect with Direct Charges to process payments. Under this model, each painter is the merchant of record — payments are processed on the painter’s own connected Stripe account, and any disputes or chargebacks are handled entirely within that account.
Stripe monitors each connected account independently. If dispute activity on a connected account exceeds Stripe’s thresholds, Stripe will restrict or disable that account directly and notify the account holder. Paint My Curb does not monitor dispute activity on Standard connected accounts and is not involved in that process. If a Stripe account is restricted or disabled, customers will be unable to complete bookings through that painter’s page because the payment will not go through.
Because each painter operates their own Stripe account, dispute and chargeback management is handled directly between the painter and Stripe. Painters can view and respond to disputes in their own Stripe dashboard. Stripe enforces its own dispute rate thresholds on behalf of the card networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and may restrict or close an account that exceeds those limits — typically around a 0.75% dispute rate.
Paint My Curb has no visibility into or control over disputes on Standard connected accounts, and is not a party to any dispute between a painter and their card network or bank. Dispute outcomes, account restrictions, and any related Stripe communications are between the painter and Stripe directly.
Suspension
Paint My Curb reserves the right to suspend platform access at any time, at its sole discretion, for conduct that violates these Terms, harms or poses a risk to customers or other users, or for any reason that poses a material risk to the Platform. This includes but is not limited to: fraudulent activity, submission of false or misleading photos, conduct that is harmful, offensive, or illegal, or failure to conduct work in a manner consistent with what was represented to the customer at the time of booking.
When platform access is suspended, new bookings cannot be accepted and new campaigns cannot be created. Existing confirmed jobs may still be completed and payments will still settle through Stripe as normal. Account data and booking history remain accessible for export.
License revocation
For more serious violations — including but not limited to submission of fraudulent photos, conduct harmful to customers, legal or regulatory action, or repeated violations of these Terms — Paint My Curb may permanently revoke the software license. If the license is revoked, all platform functionality is disabled, including the ability to complete existing jobs. Account data will remain available for export for 30 days.
Reactivation
Reactivation following a suspension may be requested by contacting [email protected]. Reactivation is not automatic and is subject to admin review at Paint My Curb’s sole discretion. Revoked licenses are not eligible for reactivation.
Pending payouts
Jobs that were marked complete before a suspension or revocation will still settle to the connected bank account through Stripe’s standard payout schedule. Paint My Curb has no ability to hold or intercept payouts on Standard connected accounts.
Stripe may act independently
Independently of any action taken by Paint My Curb, Stripe may restrict or disable a connected account for excessive disputes or other violations of Stripe’s own terms of service. If Stripe disables a connected account, customers will be unable to complete bookings through that painter’s page regardless of their platform status on Paint My Curb.
Paint My Curb does not guarantee that you will receive any minimum number of bookings, any level of income, or continued access to the Platform. The Platform is provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding earning potential or business outcomes.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, the revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. For material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice displayed on the Platform prior to the change taking effect.

To operate and improve the Platform, Paint My Curb collects the following data. It is never sold. It is shared with third parties only as necessary to operate the Platform (e.g., Stripe for payment processing) or as required by law.
