Paint My Curb

Terms & Conditions

Effective May 29, 2026

1. About Paint My Curb

Paint My Curb (paint-my-curb.com), operated by SUPER DEV SOFTWARE LLC (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is a technology platform that connects homeowners and residents (“Customers”) with independent painting service providers (“Painters”) for curb address-number painting services. We provide the booking system, payment processing, and payment facilitation service — we do not perform painting services ourselves.

2. Independent Contractor Relationship

Painters are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Paint My Curb. We do not supervise, direct, or control the work performed by any Painter. Paint My Curb makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, timing, or outcome of any painting service. Any dispute regarding the work itself is between you and the Painter.

Paint My Curb is not liable for any damage, injury, defective work, or loss arising from a Painter’s services. Our role is solely to facilitate the booking, payment collection, and funds disbursement between Customers and Painters.

3. Payment & How It Works

When you book a service, your payment is processed securely through Stripe and goes directly to the Painter’s own Stripe account. Paint My Curb retains a small platform service fee from each transaction.

Your credit card is your protection. Because your payment goes directly to the Painter, you have the same consumer protections you have with any credit card purchase. If the work is not completed or is unsatisfactory and you cannot resolve it with the Painter, you may file a dispute with your credit card company.

A platform service fee is included in the total amount you pay at checkout. This fee covers payment processing, platform maintenance, and customer support. The Painter receives only their agreed service price.

If the Painter does not complete the job within a reasonable time after the scheduled service date, you will be notified by email and given the option to cancel for a full refund. If no photo is uploaded within 3 days, the booking is automatically cancelled and refunded (see Section 5).

4. Completion & Photo Verification

After a Painter completes your job, they will upload a photo of the finished work. This photo serves as documentation that the service was performed and is shared with you via email.

If you have a concern about the quality of completed work, please reply to your completion email or contact us at [email protected]. Paint My Curb is a platform that connects customers with independent Painters — we are not a party to the service itself and do not employ or direct the Painters.

If you are unable to resolve the issue with the Painter, you have the right to file a dispute with your credit card provider. Because payments go directly to the Painter, any credit card dispute is filed against the Painter’s account — your credit card company will handle it on your behalf.

If you need help reaching your Painter, contact us at [email protected] and we will do our best to put you in touch with them.

Please check your email after your scheduled service date. Check your spam folder if you don’t see the completion email within 24 hours of the service date.

5. Overdue Jobs & Customer Protection

If a Painter does not complete your job (i.e., does not upload a completion photo) after the scheduled service date, you will receive an email notification letting you know the job has not been completed. You will also be given the option to cancel the booking for an immediate full refund.

If no completion photo is uploaded within 3 days of the scheduled service date, the booking is automatically cancelled and a full refund is issued to you. No action is needed on your part for the automatic refund.

If the Painter reschedules your job, you will be notified by email with the Painter’s contact information so you can reach out to them directly if the new date does not work for you.

Your credit card is also your protection. Payments go directly to the Painter’s account. If you believe the work was not completed as described, or was not completed at all, you may also dispute the charge with your credit card issuer at any time.

For concerns about completed work, we encourage you to reply to your booking confirmation or completion email and we will assist you. You may also contact us at [email protected].

6. Chargebacks & Credit Card Disputes

Payments made through this Platform go directly to your Painter — not to Paint My Curb. A chargeback or credit card dispute would be filed against the Painter’s account, not ours. Please keep this in mind before initiating one.

If you are unhappy with the completed work, we ask that you follow these steps in order:

  1. Contact your Painter using the “Contact Your Painter” link included in your booking emails (confirmation, completion, or reschedule emails).
  2. If you are unable to reach the Painter or the issue is unresolved, contact us at [email protected] and we will do our best to help facilitate a resolution.
  3. If the issue still cannot be resolved, you may file a dispute with your credit card provider.

Filing a chargeback for a service that was completed and photographically documented — without first attempting resolution — constitutes a breach of these Terms. Paint My Curb reserves the right to share booking records, these Terms, and the Painter’s photographic evidence of completed work with the payment processor when contesting a dispute.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

Payments made through this Platform go directly to the Painter’s account — not to Paint My Curb.

If a Painter cancels your booking:

The Platform will issue a full refund on your behalf from the Painter’s connected Stripe account.

If the job is not completed (overdue):

You will receive an overdue notice by email with the option to cancel for an immediate full refund. If no completion photo is uploaded within 3 days of the scheduled service date, the booking is automatically cancelled and a full refund is issued to you (see Section 5).

If you are unsatisfied with completed work:

Your credit card is your protection. You may dispute the charge directly with your credit card issuer at any time. We encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] so we can help facilitate a resolution.

Scheduling & Early Completion

The scheduled service date represents the date by which the Painter has committed to complete the work. Painters are independent contractors and may complete the job prior to the scheduled date at their discretion. If a Painter completes your job before the scheduled date, you will receive the standard completion notification with a photo of the finished work.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Paint My Curb’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Paint My Curb be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

8a. Platform Availability & Service Interruptions

Paint My Curb does not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times, error-free, or uninterrupted. Paint My Curb is not liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damage arising from:

  • Service outages, downtime, or scheduled or unscheduled maintenance;
  • Software bugs, glitches, data corruption, or system errors;
  • Your inability to access your account, booking history, review links, or any other Platform feature due to a technical issue;
  • Delays, failures, or errors in notification or confirmation emails;
  • Failures of third-party services we rely on, including Stripe, email delivery providers, or hosting infrastructure; or
  • Any data loss or unavailability resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain Platform availability and provide advance notice of planned maintenance where practicable, but we make no warranty of continuous uptime, data durability, or error-free operation. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

If you experience a platform issue that affects your ability to view your completed job or booking details, please contact us at [email protected].

9. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate address and contact information at the time of booking.
  • Ensure safe access to the curb area on the scheduled service date.
  • Monitor your email for job completion and status notifications.
  • Contact us promptly at [email protected] if you have any concerns about a completed job.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, the revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email or through a notice displayed on the Platform prior to the change taking effect.

By logging into or otherwise using the Platform after updated Terms have been posted, you accept and agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform, including placing or managing bookings or filing disputes, constitutes your affirmative acceptance of any posted updates.

11. Data We Collect & Privacy

This section summarizes how we handle your data. Our full Privacy Policy has the complete details — retention timelines, your rights, sub-processor list, security practices, and how to submit a privacy request.

To operate and improve the Platform, Paint My Curb collects certain data when you use our services. We do not sell your personal information.

  • Booking & contact information: name, email address, service address, and transaction identifiers associated with your bookings.
  • Device information: browser user-agent string collected when you interact with the Platform, used to classify the type of device (mobile, tablet, or desktop). We do not collect precise hardware identifiers.
  • Activity logs: timestamps of key actions such as booking confirmations, review submissions, and dispute filings.
  • Payment data: payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Paint My Curb stores only transaction identifiers; full card details are never stored on our servers. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
  • Analytics & advertising data: We use the following third-party services, each of which uses cookies and similar tracking technologies and may process data on their respective servers:
    • Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) collects anonymized information about how visitors interact with the Platform, including pages visited, session duration, and general geographic region. You may opt out at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
    • Google Ads (including Google Ads remarketing and conversion tracking) allows us to show you relevant ads on Google Search and other sites, and to measure the effectiveness of those ads. Google Ads may set cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Platform or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
See Google’s Privacy Policy for more information on how Google collects and uses data.
  • Reddit Pixel: We use Reddit’s advertising pixel to help measure the performance of our ads. This may collect hashed versions of email addresses that appear on our site or that you enter, solely for the purpose of matching conversions. No personal information is shared in plain text. See Reddit’s Privacy Policy for more information.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:

  • Session management: to keep you logged in and maintain your session state.
  • Preference storage: to remember choices you have made, such as dismissing this notice.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized usage data as described above.
  • Advertising: Google Ads and the Reddit Pixel use cookies to enable remarketing and measure ad conversions as described above.

Most browsers allow you to control or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform. By continuing to use the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to our use of cookies as described here.

Data Retention

Booking, payment, and tax records are retained for at least 7 years to comply with IRS and state tax recordkeeping rules. Customer account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure or a verified deletion request, except for the 7-year transaction-record carve-out. Completion photos are kept for 7 years as service evidence. Backups roll out on a 30-day cycle. See the full retention schedule for details.

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. The data sharing described above (with Google Analytics, Reddit Pixel, and Stripe) is solely for operational and analytics purposes.

To exercise your rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 45 calendar days, as required by California law. Identity verification (a confirmation reply from the email on file or a recent transaction identifier) may be required before we act on a deletion or access request.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so GPC signals do not change how we handle your data — we honor the underlying opt-out by default for everyone.

Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

The Platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

International Users

This Platform is operated from the United States and is intended for use by U.S. residents. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer.

The Platform is not designed to comply with the EU GDPR or UK GDPR. If you are located in those jurisdictions, do not use the Platform.

Security & Vulnerability Disclosure

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest on our managed database, row-level security for tenant isolation, and two-factor authentication on internal operational accounts. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to [email protected].

You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or any rights or obligations under them, without our prior written consent, and any attempted assignment in violation of this section is void. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction or notice to you, including to an affiliate or subsidiary or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, corporate restructuring, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets or business. These Terms bind and benefit the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.
